Privacy Policy
Effective August 28, 2026
Your shop data helps Listings understand your shop. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, and the controls available to you.
Information we handle
When you create an account or connect Etsy, Listings receives account and authorized shop information. This can include shop metadata; listing content, images, prices, inventory, categories, attributes, and state; and transaction facts needed to understand performance, such as dates, listing relationships, quantity, price, currency, and cancellation or refund status.
Listings does not need buyer names, email addresses, postal addresses, shipping details, or buyer messages for its intelligence and is designed not to persist those fields.
If you import historical CSV data, Listings normalizes the sales facts needed for Shop Memory. The uploaded file is processed in memory and is not retained after import.
How we use information
We use information to connect and synchronize your shop, build private Shop Memory, find listings worth attention, prepare evidence, recommend and monitor experiments, remember your decisions, operate and secure the service, and respond to support or data requests.
Listings does not sell seller data. Listings does not automatically edit Etsy listings, message buyers, or place orders. You decide whether to act on a recommendation.
Private shop data and public Market Memory
Your account, shop performance, imported history, cases, recommendations, actions, and feedback are private to your tenant. Other sellers cannot access them.
Listings may independently collect public marketplace evidence and reuse that public evidence as Market Memory across compatible investigations. Public Market Memory is kept separate from private shop performance and private seller feedback.
AI-assisted recommendations
Selected evidence from a case may be sent to an AI provider to produce or review a recommendation. Listings minimizes that payload and excludes credentials, OAuth tokens, seller sessions, and unnecessary buyer information. AI recommendations are experiments, not guarantees of sales, ranking, traffic, conversion, or revenue. You remain in control.
Optional shared learning
The “Help improve Listings for other sellers” setting is off by default. If you opt in, Listings may in the future use eligible de-identified patterns to improve recommendations across sellers. Raw private shop data, customer information, and identifiable shop feedback will not be shown to another seller. Turning this setting off does not prevent Listings from learning privately for your own shop. Listings has not activated broad private cross-shop learning.
Service providers
Listings uses Etsy for authorized commerce data, Vercel for application hosting, Neon for database hosting, and OpenAI for selected AI-assisted analysis. An approved local worker may process a private case in memory when that capability is enabled. Providers process only the information needed for their role under their own services and terms. Production customer data is not intentionally sent to GitHub.
Security
Listings uses encrypted network connections, scoped tenant access, protected sessions, restricted founder access, and encrypted or hashed credentials where supported. No online service can promise absolute security.
Retention, disconnecting, and deletion
Disconnecting Etsy stops future Etsy synchronization and removes the active connection; previously stored Shop Memory remains so you can reconnect without losing history. Deleting your Listings account is separate: it immediately stops autonomous work and begins deletion of tenant-private account and shop data. Limited operational or legal records may be retained where reasonably required. Independently collected public Market Memory is not deleted with one shop when it contains no private-derived data.
You can delete imported history, download a copy of supported Listings data, disconnect Etsy, or request account deletion from Settings.
Your choices and requests
You may review or change the optional shared-learning setting, request an export, delete imported history, disconnect Etsy, or delete your account. For privacy questions or help with a request, use Help & feedback while signed in.
Children and international use
Listings is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. International availability and any additional regional rights will be described before those markets are supported.
Etsy relationship
Etsy is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. Listings uses Etsy-authorized APIs and data but is an independent product and is not endorsed or certified by Etsy.
Policy updates
We may update this policy as Listings changes. We will update the effective date and request renewed acceptance when a material change requires it.
